Join the South Los Angeles Food Co-Op (SoLa) on Saturday, November 15, from 2-4 p.m., for a free high blood pressure awareness workshop at the Baldwin Hills Library community room at 2906 S. La Brea Ave, Los Angeles CA 90016
This workshop will provide information on ways to use physical activity, proper screenings and healthy foods to support cardiovascular well-being. The workshop will include a healthy cooking demo and tasting by Doula Cooks’ Chef Hawk, yogic practices for stress reduction taught by Iyengar yoga instructor Pagan George, and an informative blood pressure presentation by Certified Advanced Health and Wellness Specialist Greg Hernandez.
