The fight is on to bring healthy choices and good food to our grocery stores.
The California Endowment and Centers for Healthy Communities are hosting "Food Desert to Food Oasis: A Symposium to Revitalize South Los Angeles through Grocery Store and Business Development."
Join advocates, retailers, labor, and consumers in this summit to discuss success stories in community redevelopment and growth from around the country. Hear retailers' perspective s and their creative solutions. And debate the perceptions and realities of South Los Angeles.
The second day will feature two case studies.
