FREE 3-day, art & music festival, Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4, 5, 6, 2010 in Historic Leimert Park Village.
Our 2010 theme is "Community Counts" and so we are inviting individuals and communities from all over Southern California to join us for this exciting, energetic event.
This is a family-friendly festival that will feature more than 20 nationally known and local performers presenting jazz, r&b, reggae, blues, spokenword, dance and fashion shows.
The arts market will feature 40 established and emerging fine artists and craftspeople selling a large variety of original and unique artwork and products.
There will also be age-appropriate activities for children and teens. Delectable food and beverages will be available for purchase in our international food court.
Applications are being accepted for vendors (Yevette-323.600.3741), musicians and performers (Sika-323.295.2502), volunteers (Yevette-323.600.3741) and sponsorships (Doreen-310.431.7964).
Opportunities are limited, please call today!
This event is being sponsored in part by Councilmember Bernad C. Parks, Department of Cultural Affairs, Community Build and The Leimert Park Group.
