Event Description

Don’t miss out on CAAM’s celebration of Black music month, through Films at CAAM.  “Music is my Life, Politics my Mistress: The Story of Oscar Brown, Jr will be screened at CAAM, exploring the mind of a man whom was never afraid to speak his mind. Poet, composer, lyricist, and human rights activist, Brown lead an extraordinary life and made great contributions to music and the Black population along the way. Special celebrity host for the evening will be actor Harry Lenix, who will lead a Q&A after the screening. This event is free and open to the public.
