Drop in and join photographer Valena Broussard Dismukes for afternoon walkthroughs on November 5 of her current photography exhibition, Intersections: Valena Broussard Dismukes and learn more about her creative practice.
The current exhibit features photographs from throughout Dismukes’ life, with a focus on her noted series and book “The Red-Black Connection” drawing connections between African-American and Native American identity, as well as an additional series of photographs and autobiographical texts from Dismukes travels. Together these reveal insights into her 35 year personal and creative process.
