After over 3 years traversing the world Dwight returns to The World Stage as the prodigal son. Please plan to come early. Tickets are $15.00. There are no advance tickets available.
Dwight Trible is a legend on the quiet, a retrospective waiting to happen. Not a newcomer to the music scene, over a remarkable career, this Los Angeles native has worked with everyone from Bobby Hutcherson and Charles Lloyd to Harry Belafonte. He is the vocalist with the Pharaoh Sanders Quartet and is also the vocal director for the Horace Tapscott Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra, a Los Angeles institution with a history stretching back forty years and an active engagement in the city's Black community since the Watts Uprising.
Celebrate the end of Worldwide Peace Week with Dwight at The World Stage.
Sooner or later all the people of the world will have to discover a way to live together in peace, and thereby transform this pending cosmic elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood. If this is to be achieved, man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love. -Martin Luther King Jr.
