DMD Productions in collaboration with TIFO Film Productions presents dance and music artist Merlin Nyakam. Originally from Cameroon, Central Africa, Merlin Nyakam now resides in Paris where he performs and teaches throughout Europe. Merlin has performed with Bobby McFerrin; as choreographer and dancer for Angelique Kidjo and is the Director and Choreographer of his own Compagnie de Danse Africaine et Afro-Contemporaine "LA CALEBASSE."

This Gala Night and Awards Ceremony is designed to honor individuals and/or groups for their ingenuity in the art of dance from Africa and the globe. The program includes dance performances starring our special guest artist Merlin Nyakam with selected local soloists and dance crews accompanied by live music and multimedia projection combined into a one hour vibrant and well choreographed extravaganza spectacle!
The Gala Night will also include a fashion show extravaganza: Mami Afrika by Wawi Amasha.
