Join the California African American Museum (CAAM) for a special program leading up to Expo Park’s Firework Extravaganza.  Co-hosted by comedian D'Lai and actor Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter, enjoy performances by singer Ashley Chanel, ventriloquist Aaron Williams and his sidekick Freddie, spoken word artist Wilson Sandoval, Toni Malone, the Lady of Song and musician Cliff Beach.  Remember it's all FREE! Bring your blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the festivities and Firework Extravaganza. CAAM’s galleries will be open for the holiday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Starting at noon, local artist and educator, Teresa Toliver, will conduct an art workshop. The Special Evening Program with live performances starts at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at dusk.
