The Black Infant Health Program to host it’s Annual First Trimester/Enrollment Campaign in Los Angeles.
LOS ANGELES, California (February 1, 2013) - The Black Infant Health Program will be hosting their First Trimester/Enrollment Campaign on March 13, 2013 and March 14, 2013..
The Children’s Collective, Inc., a private non-profit human services corporation that has served children and families in the Greater Los Angeles area since1972. The Children’s Collective, Inc. provides high quality, comprehensive, educational and family support services to over 6,657 children and youth, and 8,343 parents and other adults at 13 locations throughout South Los Angeles. Through the founding of Black Infant Health Program in 1982, our agency has been able to make a difference in our community by assisting in the improvement in birth outcomes of African-American women since 2005.
During the entire month of March, The Black Infant Health Program will host it’s Annual First Trimester Campaign in which we aim to enroll women who are in the first trimester of their pregnancy. Because the first trimester is a critical time for the healthy development of the baby, we urge our clients to start seeing a doctor during this time if they haven't already begun.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2013 and Thursday, March 14, 2013, The Black Infant Health Program will host first ever Enrollment Fair. On this day, the Black Infant Health Program will enroll women into the program on the spot - no appointment necessary. We will also raffle a Walmart gift card!
