Healthy Babies Are Everyone’s Business!!!
We welcome you to join The International Center for Traditional Childbearing for the 7th International Black Midwives and Healers conference in sunny Long Beach, California. October 7‐10, 2010 at the Long Beach Hilton Long Beach & Executive Meeting Center.
The International Center for Traditional Childbearing (ICTC) is pleased to announce that this year our Gala
keynote speaker is Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter, Erykah Badu. Ms. Badu is an advocate of
natural childbirth for a healthy birth outcome and breastfeeding for robust infant development. Our luncheon keynote speaker is public health administrator, pediatrician & neonatal/perinatal specialist, Reverend Dr. Ronald David, MD. Dr. David served as the chair of the national commission on infant mortality under the auspices of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and is a staunch advocate for midwifery.
