Event Description

Welcome To:  The I've Known Rivers Film Festival

Message From: The Founder - "On behalf of the Board of Directors, members and volunteers of FAMLI, Inc., I would like to thank you for your support, and welcome you to the 7th annual I’ve Known River’s FILM FESTIVAL of Arts, Culture & Education! It is an honor to bring this magnificent event to our community, which is so deserving of quality activities, events and programs. This year’s theme, “The Souls of Black Folk" speaks to the gallant tradition of Black people in America, who rose above social barriers to craft a culture that has enriched the entire world. The films screenings articulate an artistic outlook and perspective that seeks to further shape the cultural /political landscape, and push humanity forward, this is our tradition."
