Event Description

The Korean Cultural Center LA and Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) are proud to present “2012 Sounds of Friendship’" at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 7:30pm. Audiences are invited to experience the “hallyu” (Korean wave) of rhythm and passion of Korea at this highly anticipated FREE show.  Owing to the popularity of the show, it is suggested that people obtain their complementary tickets at the Korean Cultural Center to ensure entrance to this phenomenal production.

“2012 Sounds of Friendship” will feature Korea’s leading artists from various disciplines sharing the stage, including Korean World Music group GongMyoung, popular B-boy group Gorilla Crew and Korean dance sensations, Gayageum-Jihyun Lee, Pansori-Eunhye Jung and Hyeah Na. This exciting new production is the latest in KCCLA’s series of critically acclaimed shows, including the recent SOLD OUT nonverbal, all dance US debut of “2012 Korea in Motion- Dance Musical ‘Sachoom’” and last year’s electrifying production, “Rhythm and Passion of Korea,” which was nominated for a Los Angeles Area Emmy Award for its airing on KCET.

Be sure to experience 2012 Sounds of Friendship" for yourself at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre on October 9, 2012 at 7:30pm.

The event is FREE, but one must obtain tickets for entrance at the Korean Cultural Center located at 5505 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036. For more information, please visit www.kccla.org or call 323-936-3015.
