Hiram Sims is a poet extraordinaire! Don't miss this event. He is a busy fellow-- and we are pleased to have him come to LAPL to present his work to an appreciative audience of library patrons, readers, and budding writers, poets and authors.
Hiram will read from his latest work: Photoetry: Poetry and Photography From South Central LA. This is an amazing collaboration between Hiram and five photographers: Sam Bendall, Adam Tillman Young, Ameer Espy, Charisse Sims, and Kim Soria. Hiram will answer questions and interact with guests.
Please stop by and be a part of creative space that is our library. Marcie is working super - hard to make Washington Irving "one of the most fun, attractive, creative, patron-friendly, literature-loving, well-stocked and -read branches in LAPL." Check it out.
