Let’s celebrate our community, meet some neighbors and clean up Jefferson Boulevard this Saturday.
The neighborhood council for that area, NANDC, is focusing on the stretch from Vermont to Western and has enlisted local partners to help transform this main boulevard.
We’re also providing lunch from Earlez Grille.
I’m on the executive board of NANDC and we have already walked this street twice to report issues to 311 and say hello to the business owners and residents.
Already several community groups and organizations have stepped up, including Food 4 Less, Redeemer Community Partnerships, USC Department of Public Safety, LAPD and the Korean Youth Community Center.
The El Camino is loaded with rakes, brooms, shovels and plants. We only need you.
We will give demonstrations on how to use 311 by phone and app to show just how easy it is for city services to be responsive to your needs.
SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2015
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Meet at 9:00 am at The Food 4 Less, located at 1748 W. Jefferson Blvd. at Western Avenue
For more information, contact Andrea Canty at (310) 753-9678
