Metro and Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corporation will be hosting a second series of pilot Business Interruption Fund (BIF) workshops for three Metro Rail construction projects areas during September, October and November in the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, the Purple Line Extension Phase 1 and the Little Tokyo area of the Regional Connector
Workshop participants will learn about the BIF and receive information first-hand from program staff about how small "mom and pop" businesses directly impacted by Metro rail construction qualify and apply for the program. Program staff will share information about the application process, provide tips for how to prepare the application and provide information about the financial materials required to demonstrate loss of business revenue directly related to construction of Metro Rail transit projects.
