Don't be shocked as I was when you drive to the rear of the post office on Crenshaw across from Albertson and discover that ALL OF THE MAILBOXES have been REMOVED. WHAT THE......??? None in the front.......none down the block or on surrounding corners that I could find. How arrogant is that to remove critical services from the community without widespread media or mailed warnings. I am checking corners where mailboxes used to be to determine the extent of the removals. DO THE SAME AND SHARE WITH ALL OF US!!! Remember that the Post Office became a quasi-governmental agency with a layer of "private" corporate types managing the system. Long time civil service management has been long gone when it comes to decision making. Used to be the Black man's path to the middle class, but like local government civil service jobs, LONG GONE!!!!
