Polling Hours:
10 am – 2 pm

Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza
(Farmers Market)
3650 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90008

AND THIS IS A NICE EMAIL I RECEIVED THIS MORNING. I'm not endorsing, but please go out vote and get involved.

"Jefferson Park has received a lot of support from the UNNC Board over the last year.

"Please support your neighbors who volunteer their time on the UNNC Board by voting tomorrow. There are 9 people running for 5 available At-Large seats, so your vote counts. "

Then the email gavie a recap of ways UNNC has contributed to Jefferson Park this year:

UNNC has been very pro-active in addressing the Murphy Oil Site, and is working on an appeal to be heard on May 20th. Thanks go to Michael Salman, Laura Meyers, and many others.

Our Jefferson Park HPOZ signs were funded by UNNC in 2013. (Thanks to Steve Peckman for spearheading that project.)

Soon our Jefferson Park entry sign near Western will have nice LED lighting, courtesy of UNNC and Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative funding. (Thanks to Gus Harris, Jr. for initiating this.)

We have recently taken strong stands on pedestrian safety, bicycle access, and street calming. (Thanks to Michael Macdonald for his leadership.)

You can read bios of all candidates here:
http://empowerla.org/unnc/united-neighborhoods-nc-2014-elections/

The Jefferson Park, West of Arlington Seat 2 is up for election with two candidates. I encourage you to read their candidate statements.

You will be able to vote for up to 5 At-Large Board members, and one resident representative if you are a resident.

UNNC is a lot of work and no pay, so your neighbors appreciate your vote of support!
