Michael "Bing Bing" Taylor announces Historic 33mile walk from Altadena to Long Beach on August 20th, 2014 (Video)

"Look what it's come to," says Bing Bing. "I have to walk 33 miles to get people's attention." Local artist Bing Bing has officially announced that he will be walking 33 miles from the mountains in Altadena, Ca to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, Ca for #empowerment. The kid wants people to recognize the power that you have within yourself as an individual and to use that power for the betterment of yourself, your community, and the world at large. Bing Bing chose #empowerment as tha primary premise of this walk because he just wants to walk for all causes that are dear to him. He chose to walk for empowerment because he's seen too many of his peers with no ambition. "Laziness is contagious," says a stern Bing Bing.

Bing Bing took to youtube to publish the announcement that he will be walking 33 miles. Although empowerment is the main cause for this walk, each participant will be walking for their own causes that are dear to them. Bing Bing reached out to the Humanity Helping Sudan Project because he wanted to walk in light of refugees who've had to travel long distances for food, water, & shelter. Unlike the other walks that Bing Bing went on, he decided that he will not reach out to any mainstream media outlets on behalf of this event. "Because I know they know of me. I've reached out way too far for them to not know," says a frustrated Bing Bing when discussing the topic of mainstream media. "I will carry this out alone if I have to because people just don't take me serious."

The 33mile walk is a 2-day event. Bing Bing & company are planning on walking more than half of the way there on the first day. If adequate donations are received, the Unity Now! group will get a hotel room to collect themselves when the day is done. 33 miles is too far to walk in one daylight and walking at night is both dangerous and ineffective. That is why they are getting the hotel room to finish out the 2nd day of the event. The walk will start very early in the morning on August 20th, 2014. It will still be hours of darkness when the walk begins. By time the sun comes up, Bing Bing and participants should be at least a quarter of the way there. No stragglers.

This is a test. This walk is a test for citizens here in America. As people simply sit & watch Bing Bing run around and try to make something of himself, little do they know they are being tested. To see what it takes to make people want to help him. Because everything that Bing Bing does revolves around others. Bing Bing's feet are quick to run and help someone or something. If Bing Bing successfully completes and follows through with this walk, he expects people to not care. He expects people to not be paying attention. With all the things going on in the world today, you would think people would support and get behind a young brother who chose not to be a part of the problem and do positive things to make change in the community and the world. They just don't get it yet.

Bing Bing is still uneasy over the fact that people overlooked the magnitude of his other walks. The 21mile walk to End Gang Violence for the next generation. He was the youngest person there and was the one who brought all 7 other individuals together. It was his 24th birthday. He wore a 3-piece suit WITH the shoes for the entire 21 miles. People don't recognize that part. The mainstream media didn't want to cover that story, as positive and dangerous as it was. But they covered the story of some young little boy who lost his dog in Monterey Park and talked about how sad he was.

"I'm developing a killer instinct (figuratively speaking). Because I'm doing what I'm suppose to and these people in positions of power look at me like 'Nope, that's not good enough for us. It makes me feel like they are abusing their power. It makes me feel like they are unfit for their positions. Because you're blocking a kid who is destined to make a positive impact. Because I've reached my hand all the way out and you bit it. It's okay. The more they overlook me, the more leverage I will have when my time comes. Because I will not stop," Bing Bing concludes.

Please, go to BingBingmusic.com and learn more about this ambitious walk. Bing Bing is raising funds for this event strictly to assure the safety of himself and the participants and to help make the biggest impact possible. All support is needed and appreciated! The walk is taking place on August 20th, 2014 and we have no time to waste!
