Got fruit? Got time? Even though thousands of families across Los Angeles and millions across the US have scarce access to nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables, Americans still throw away over 40% of the produce they grow.
Food Forward connects the abundance that grows in our very own backyards to those who need it most. If you or your neighbor has a fruit tree, consider donating the fruit to the hungry. We'll recruit volunteers from the local community led by a trained volunteer to harvest the abundance, and 100% of what they pick gets donated to local direct-service agencies that feed those in need. Sign up to volunteer or register your tree today at Foodforward.org!
