When I first moved to L.A., he warmly embraced me with kindness and information to 'get it happening'. We had a lot in common. Midwest upbringing, etc. The day he left this Earthly existence broke my heart, but I was at peace with the 'Plans of the Divine'

   He had a great discography and was a great educator and composer. We will be joyfully celebrating his life and music with some new musicians. A few special guests will grace the bandstand as well! Join us!" - J.L.
