The Holman Community Development Corporation announces Inglewood Mayor James Butts as one of this year's Quiet Champion honorees.
LOS ANGELES - March 7, 2018 - PRLog -- The Holman Community Development Corporation, a community leader in providing solutions to inequities in youth employment, job readiness training and more for the communities of Los Angeles; today announced Inglewood Mayor James Butts as one of this year's honorees for the 7th Annual Gospel Brunch, set for June 8, 2018 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

Mayor Butts, a Los Angeles native, rose through the ranks of law enforcement in Inglewood during the 70s and 80s and as Mayor, led the efforts to renovate and reopen the entertainment arena The Forum in Inglewood and developed a plan for a new mega NFL Stadium in Inglewood.
" Mayor Butts has been diligent in reenergizing the Inglewood area and bringing jobs and revenue to our local economy. The Quiet Champion award is given to an individual, company or organization that quietly supports the underserved, under-represented and often overlooked of the community. They do it quietly, without fanfare and do it consistently.
Proceeds from this event will support Holman CDC''s programs such as Jobs for Kids Youth Employment Program, the Job Readiness Training Initiative and the Beyond the Battlefield Women Veteran's Initiative.
