Word on the street is that Leimert Park Village is open for business tonight for a certain clientele.
The great shops in our own downtown are opening their doors and celebrating Halloween! They will be giving out candy, having games and some other surprises. I can hear the drums as we speak from my front yard.
"Where ever you see the pumpkins you will find the fun," says an email from Heather Presha, the president of the 9th Street Block Club. She says that James Burke, the new manager of the beautifully restored Vision Theater called her and told her about the fun earlier today.
Let's get the word out.
And check out this Vision of a Theater. That was just taken. It's restored and perhaps better than ever.
Amen to that. You know what they say it takes a Village to throw a Leimert Park Halloween.
