Great news---thanks Yvonne!  I will go by there tomorrow when I take my walk.  Hoping to get to the next Neighborhood council meeting.  Please forward any info as I will also pass it along to all my neighbors and block club captains.

Hi, Heather -- DWP got this repaired!  This is the pic they forwarded.  I can't tell but I hope it looks lots better than it did.  Don't hesitate to bring items like this to the Neighborhood Council.  If it's something we can't look into, we might have a resource that can.  Best,

Yvonne

Ok, great--thanks Yvonne!  Got your other message about the Tree Trimming.  Thank you so much!  I hope we can have coffee in the new year and you can give me an update on the Neighborhood Council News. Talk soon...HP

Hi, Heather -- I contacted DWP regarding this issue and its response was:  "The normal process for DWP is to repair the water main break and then to cover the hole with what is called a slurry patch. We then issue a work order and send it over to the City Street Repair for the final street repair and repave. Evidently this one was never completed and was left with just the slurry patch."

DWP is targeting repair by mid-January.  Do let me know if it's not done by then.

Happy Holidays!

Yvonne
