African American ARTISTS from across Los Angeles:
“The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) is a proud supporter of Los Angeles’ 2013 African American Heritage Celebration. This celebration will promote and encourage an awareness of the significant contributions made by our City’s African Americans in culture, education, politics, business, technology, and the arts. As part of this celebration, DCA is once again creating a calendar and cultural guide showcasing African American artists from across Los Angeles and will list the numerous events, exhibitions, lectures, and festivals related to this annual celebration of African American culture.”
