GIVE YOUR WRITING A RAISE
AT REFLECTIONS PUBLISHING’S 3RD ANNUAL
WRITE AT THE SPEED OF CHANGE WRITERS SEMINAR

Join a growing group of writers on March 27, 2010 at the LAX Radisson Hotel, 6225 W. Century Blvd, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for an informative and stimulating day of workshops and lectures on the electrifying craft of writing. Our theme this year is to Write at the Speed of Change, guaranteed to thrust you into the next level of your writing journey. This is the event for professionals, stay at home moms, retirees, students, dreamers, entrepreneurs and novice writers to learn the essentials of writing and self publishing.

Ray Driver, CEO of Reflections said, “This year we’ve included a much anticipated children’s book workshop, featuring Shirley Edwards, author of Mom and Me – A Read-along Book on Child Safety. Shirley will share her experience with getting into writing books for children, share her ABC’s of writing, illustrating, and publishing children’s books.”

The seminar will feature development tactics for writing winning book proposals and writing your way through writers block, two must haves for any serious writer. Beverly Reynolds, president of Word Mart will facilitate a workshop on the power of the professional edit. Flo Selfman, president of Independent Writers of Southern California, will address book publicity, agents, and social networking.

California State Senator, Curren Price, and Genesis Writers Group, will announce the winners of The 2nd Annual Curren Price Writers Contest. Tori Bailey, a member of Genesis Writers said,” I am committed to the importance of writing and I work diligently to promote literacy by encouraging writers to submit stories for the writers contest and attend this spectacular event.”

New this year is a glimpse into our popular Writers Development Workshop, and our upcoming Writers Boot Camp. Write at the Speed of Change, promises to be a day you can’t afford to miss. Sign up for the writer’s breakout sessions where attendees will have an opportunity to receive a professional critique on their writing and ideas.

Michael Jones, CEO of Success Management, a member of The Genesis Writers Group, will facilitate a workshop sharing his proven strategies on overcoming barriers, and his secret tips on coaching your way through your writing.

Raunda Frank, CEO of RPK Consulting, will hold a workshop on the systematic order of writing a memoir, and how to work with a ghostwriter.
