Volunteer to evaluate the new crosswalks for LADOT, plus our response to the Mobility Element and a report on the road bond

Volunteer to evaluate the new crosswalks

Remember those nifty new crosswalks the city unveiled last month? LADOT needs your help in conducting fieldwork before and after the new designs are implemented. It sounds like a great way to see the city and meet fellow walkers! Learn how you can sign up.

A response to the Mobility Element plan

The Departments of Transportation and City Planning have released their revised Mobility Element plan, looking at new ways improve streets, transform transit and help Angelenos get around the city. We have some ideas for how the plan can be improved for pedestrians. Read our response to their pedestrian recommendations.

How we helped put the road bond on hold

Earlier this month we joined other bike and pedestrian advocates at a City Council meeting where we testified against a $3 billion bond that would fix streets without making improvements for cyclists pedestrians. The bond was delayed so the city could gather more information. Find out what you can do next.
