Waiting for Marlton - Stalled redevelopment mars Baldwin Hills neighborhood and Crenshaw Plaza businesses

The $30 million upgrade of the Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw Plaza is underway just a year or two after new owners came in and paid more than $100 million for this prized piece of real estate.

Oscar Grant vigil in Leimert Park

Oscar Grant was shot in the back while lying face down as two officers were were about to cuff him. With no provocation seen in several cell phone videos taken by onlookers in the San Francisco subway, transit cop Johannes Mehserle stood up and shot him in the back. He claimed he thought he was reaching for his taser and was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

OG OSCAR GRANT'S MURDER vs BLACK ON BLACK MAYHEM
