Living In Leimert Park?

Hi Y'all,I know this is a general question, but what is living in Leimert really like? How is the crime rate? Are the neighbors friendly with each other? Is the rent high, low or in between?I am asking because I am planning to relocate early next year. Right now I live in Hawthorne. It's not the best neighborhood but I haven't had any serious incidents for the two years I've lived here. I love the spirit of Leimert Park. The first time I visited I was in awe that such a place existed. I love coming to the drum circle every sunday. It's like church for me.
