So what brings you to Leimert Park Beat? Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a 73 year old African American Australian, a former documentary filmmaker, then mediation and conflict resolution trainer. At 68 i started doing stand up and then became a storyteller. I've taken my show "From Slavery to Star Trek" to the Sydney, Adelaide and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and have come home to visit. I love storytelling
and want to see what's happening here, and perhaps get involved here.
