Cake for King
On MLK Day, CAAM hosted a Presidential Inauguration Watch Breakfast for CAAM members. As an added benefit to being a CAAM member, this exclusive event allowed members to view the inauguration live on CAAM’s multiscreen while in a culturally relevant environment. As the Inauguration Watch ended, Cake for King began. CAAM’s annual event drew out hundreds of people where they watched the documentary “Man of Peace in a Time of War,” had slices of cake from “Nooks and Grannies,” participated in art workshops and much more.
