I live in Leimert Park, a few blocks from the Village. I created Leimert Park Beat so I oversee the content. But all are free to post. Leimert Park Beat is a place and a platfrom for the businesses and residents of Leimert Park to have a conversation.

I'm getting my master's degree in online communities at USC. In the summer we take an accelerated class and have an internship - so I haven't been posting as much (but sine community have really stepped up and given the site much more depth - everyone says THANKS). And I'm also behind in my email. Sorry because I know it takes a lot to put yourself out there.

I really liked the lyrics. I had a lot of questions - do you sing? is there a melody or a beat that you have in mind?

I was in a classic rock band last year and am now a garage guitar player. I've been writing some singer/songwriter rockabilly country stuff. But I love lots of different styles of music.

No I don't sing or play an instrument. I wish I did! I'm a writer, screeplays,lyrics. I don't have a beat. But I was thinking r&b, jazz, and then I think country. Do you have any ideas???; ▶ Reply to This
