Get Well Soon &/or feel better sooner - progress report ~

"I can feel I'm improving and walking better but I'm not out the woods yet. I got teased because (daughter) brought me a cane Thursday night but I haven't used it yet. Too vain for the pain plus I don't have the rhythm down to look cool. I thank everyone for the remedies, ointments ,positive thoughts and prayers and l feel everything is working but The Turtle is slow. I feel good about everything though. Peace, Blessings & Love" - DR

Vegan festival, Afternoon of Jazz at Cowan school where I teach World drumming on Friday and you have Ben Caldwell's Art Walk in Leimert Park but today also has an outdoor free music concert in Leimert Park this last day of Jazz Appreciation Month. Derf Reklaw quintet, Victor Orlando and other performers. and closing with Torrance Brandon Reese New Orleans style. 1pm to 6pm. Check some of the Artistry and good things going on.   "If you saw the flyer on the workshops for the World Stage the Roots First Youth Music Program is incorrect. The Correct time is 2 to 3:30 on Sundays at the World Stage." - D.R. (amended in Event Discription above as best possible, doh! -  O-!)
